FUEL at School is the on-site after school program offered by FUEL Cycle Fitness. The program is offered to preschool, elementary, and middle school students and is available at select schools. All programs are staffed with a senior instructor and have a junior instructor who is a high school or college student interested in working with children. All instructors are required to have proper clearances and be CPR/First-Aid certified.
The program consists of 6 to 10, 45-minute boxing fitness sessions within a 6-10 week time frame (or session). Students learn the fundamentals of boxing (e.g., how to throw punches) and receive gloves and a certification upon completion.
The ultimate goal is to have kids of all ages learn the value of health + fitness in a fun and welcoming environment and give kids a chance to do something that will empower and strengthen their minds and bodies.
Our FUEL at School programs are funded by the parents who wish to get their child involved. However, our ultimate goal is to continue expanding the program and offer FUEL at School to kids at schools where the cost may be prohibitive. For every few parent or school funded program we launch, we aim to launch another program funded through donations, sponsorships, or partnerships at schools where the parents/children cannot afford the cost. This fall we will launch our first sponsored program – nominate a school here!
Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have or to request information or to recommend or nominate a school for a sponsored FUEL at School program.
